The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre
Donation protected
In September we will be climbing Kilimanjaro to raise money for Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
Cancer affects 1 in 2 people and recently affected my Friends Dad and her family.
Colin Thompson was diagnosed with lung cancer back in 2014. After an operation and chemotherapy Colin was able to make a recovery.
Colin always praised the care and treatment he received during his time under the Clatterbridge team.
In July 2018, unfortunately Colin was once again diagnosed with Cancer, this time in his hip.
He was once again under the team at Clatterbridge and received great care.
Colin's cancer however continued to spread round his body. On Wednesday 12th June 2019 he sadly lost his fight.
Clatterbridge Cancer Center supports millions of people and their families every year. With the money donated to Clatterbridge Cancer Center they will be able to continue the amazing work they do, providing more medicines, operations, treatments and support to patients and families.
Hopefully in the not to far future Cancer will not affect 1 in 2 of us and a the survival of cancer sufferers will continue to grow. This however will not happen without donations, so please sponsor me with what ever you can.
I thank you all SO much in advance. x
