This year I have been competing in Canada.  After competing in local then provincial competitions in Alberta, I earned a spot at Canadian Nationals in Montreal in May. I  won a silver medal not just in my age group, but also in the open category earning two invitations to Team Canada's  National Training and Selection Camp.

My hard work and training paid off and I was selected to the Canadian National Team. I will be proudly wearing the maple leaf this year on the world stage at this years IFSC World Championships.

In August I will travel to Arco, Italy with Team Canada, where I will face off against the top youth climbers from around the world.
