CLIMBING SNOWDON FOR EIRA

Hello! My name is Chloë and I’m raising funds for a very special little girl named Eira. Eira is the beautiful 2.5-year-old daughter of my best friends Rebecca and Phil. Earlier this year, Eira’s world was turned upside down when she fell suddenly and critically ill with acute necrotising encephalitis – a rare and devastating inflammation of the brain. Doctors told her parents to prepare for the worst, but Eira has defied the odds and continues to fight every single day.

My goal is to raise £500 to support Eira and her family as they navigate this incredibly challenging journey. They have been by her side every moment and need our help. The funds will help cover daily living expenses, home modifications, and adaptive equipment to improve Eira’s quality of life. This support will allow them to focus on loving and caring for Eira, rather than worrying about financial stress.

Every donation will go directly to Eira’s parents, to be used for:

• Daily living support: Helping cover basic expenses (like travel, utilities, and food) while they care for Eira full-time.

• Home modifications: Making necessary changes to their home to accommodate Eira’s condition.

• Adaptive equipment: Purchasing specialised items to improve Eira’s quality of life, such as an adaptive car seat, mobility aids, and other equipment or devices as she grows.

To help raise these funds, I will be climbing Snowdon on Saturday 23rd August 2025, the highest peak in Wales, as a symbol of hope and strength for Eira’s fight.
