Hi, I'm Russ, and we're fundraising for our best friend, David Paxton.

On August 3rd, a group of Dave’s family and friends will be climbing Snowdon to raise essential funds for his life-saving treatment. Our goal is to raise at least £7,672, with 100% of donations going directly to Dave’s medical care.

To make this challenge even more special, our young children will be joining the climb taking on the full 8-mile route and ascending 3,560 feet to the summit!

Dave has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Duodenum, an incredibly rare and aggressive cancer that has already spread to his liver. Fewer than 25 cases have been recorded worldwide.

His only option is urgent Immunotherapy treatment, which costs £7,672 per month for two years totaling £184,128. Due to the rarity of this cancer, the NHS and Dave’s insurance are unable to fund the treatment.

Your donation no matter the amount will go directly towards giving Dave a fighting chance. A chance to watch his amazing son Stanley grow up, to celebrate milestones, and to share precious time with his loved ones.
