Mount Snowdon night time climb for charity
Donation protected
On 12th June 2021, myself and a group of other young people will be climbing Mount Snowdon during the night. We will start the climb at 12:30am and reach the summit in time for the sunrise! I will be raising money for 2 charities and splitting the amount raised between them.
The first charity that we are raising money for collectively is MS International Federation. This amazing charity has helped the founder of The Travel Squad, Alex Merritt’s, mum in her battle with MS. They are an incredible organisation that do work all over the world to help those with MS and their families deal with the effects of this awful disease.
The second charity I will be fundraising for is Maggie’s. As most of you will know, my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 when I was 9. It was such a challenging time for us but mum is such a fighter and I’m so lucky to still have her by my side. Looking back at what mum went through still makes me so emotional, she is the strongest woman I know. Maggie’s helped my family tremendously during this time and mum credits them as being one of the reasons she was able to stay so positive during her fight. Maggie’s means an awful lot to me and I couldn’t have done something like this without raising some money for them too.
Please donate whatever you can. Whether it’s £5 or £500, it will all be so appreciated by both of these amazing charities. If you’re unable to donate, it would be amazing if you could share the link to my page which will aid in it hopefully being able to reach as many people as possible! I have attached links to videos showing the incredible work that both charities do below :)
