Wakefield Hospice and St Leonard’s Hospice

I’m climbing Mount Snowden on 22nd March 2025 because Cancer sucks and i just want to make a difference where i can, no matter how big or small

Donations made will be split between Wakefield Hospice and St Leonard’s Hospice, York who are committed to providing the highest level of symptom management and care for people who have advanced active, progressive and life threatening illness.

Anyone that knows me knows I’m massively pushing myself out of my comfort zone here, but it’s happening!! If you’d have asked me if I could do this 6mths ago I’d have said hell no, there’s no way I can do it but 5mths after receiving a new hip and recently starting to walk 30miles per week I thought why not put this to good use so i’ve decided I’m going to take on the challenge that is Mount Snowden on 22nd March 2025 ️

Cancer has touched my life in so many ways with people close to me, I lost my Nanna and my Uncle to cancer. My stepdad, my stepmum and my lovely friend have all battled it and two of my other lovely friends have both just been rediagnosed with it for a 2nd and 3rd time, not to mention others I’m aware of either battling or living with it. It’s heartbreaking how many lives this horrible disease destroys

Although I can’t rid the world of it I want to do something to help where I can.
