Climbing Mount Kenya with 0 training should be fun
Donation protected
Hi everyone! I have decided to climb Mount Kenya in 10 days, yes that's right 10 days! I have zero training and will probably die, but it's for the kids so please sponsor me and my impending death.
Mount Kenya is the highest mountain in Kenya and the second-highest in Africa. It's 5,199 metres above sea level and is a tough but incredible climb.
As mentioned I am doing this to raise money for the children of Briton's School, a project very close to my heart and one I have been working with for the last number of years. Briton's School is a Primary School in the Slum area of Makuru Kwa Njenga. We currently have 320 children attend every day from ages 2 - 15.
The money raised will be used to fund our feeding programme (a daily food programme we run to give every child at least one meal a day), pay our teachers salaries (These guys are incredible and live on $100 a month), help us to buy important educational resources, and will allow us to continue to create a safer and happier environment for our beautiful children.
If you can help with a donation of even the price of a cup of coffee I would really appreciate it. In return, I promise to run my lazy ass every day between now and then, stop drinking and most of all just put myself through absolute torture to achieve this.
Thanks so much for your support,
Collette
