Climbing local "Everest" so Max can beat cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is JJ. I'm fundraising for my little buddy Max and his dad Andy, mom Cara and older brother Jack. Max is four years old and has been battling leukemia since he was one. This cancer is tough and stubborn, but Max and his family have been fighting strong the whole time, undergoing and self financing Max's treatments here in Australia.
Unfortunately, things have now changed. After the latest update, Max's best chance for treatment to beat this cancer is not available here in Australia. It requires him to go to Singapore into specialised care, which will require treatment that is sadly not funded by the Australian government. This treatment alone is very expensive and that does not include travel and living costs for the family.
So I plan to climb my local Mt. Coolum, the 2nd largest rock in the world, and hike to the 200+ meter summit 42 times. This is the equivalent to the distance of Mt. Everest. Just a small amount of suffering and effort compared to what Max has already endured.
I'm asking people to donate so Max can get the life saving treatment in Singapore he needs, and he can have the best chance at a long and happy life. Please donate all that you can, everything will help.
Thank you,
JJ Green
