Firstly, thank you for visiting my page!
I'm Marta and I'm taking on the incredible challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity dedicated to ensuring no young person has to face cancer alone.
Teenage Cancer Trust provides unique care and support designed specifically for young people facing cancer.
But their work doesn't stop there. So where will you money go towards?
- Funding specialised nurses, youth workers, and hospital units in the NHS. This ensures young people have dedicated staff and age-appropriate facilities to support them throughout their treatment journey.
- Supporting families. A cancer diagnosis affects more than just the young person, it is devastating for parents and loved ones. Teenage Cancer Trust ensures everyone receives the emotional support they need, because no one should face these challenges alone.
- Help create life-changing connections. The charity runs events where young people can meet others going through similar experiences, helping them rebuild confidence, independence, and hope during difficult times.
- Education and empowerment. Easy-to-understand information is provided to help young people and families navigate every step of the cancer journey.
Why I’m Climbing:
Every step I take up Kilimanjaro is for the young people and families impacted by cancer. My goal is to raise £5,000 and with your help, we can make sure Teenage Cancer Trust continues this life-changing work.
