Climbing Kilimanjaro for the Alzheimer Society

Hi everyone,

I will be jetting off on September 7th 2024 to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania (the highest free standing mountain in the world ). I will be doing so to raise money for the Alzheimer Society of Ireland, an incredible non-profit organisation who not only provide essential care to sufferers of Dementia, but also support services to the families of those affected. You can find more information about the great work that they do here https://alzheimer.ie/.

This is a cause that is very close to my heart as my Grandad, Liam Marren, was diagnosed and lived with Dementia before he passed away recently in February of this year. Because of this I understand first hand how important it is to have continued support services for those suffering with this illness and the Alzheimer Society of Ireland is at the forefront of ensuring and advocating for the rights and needs of all people living with Dementia.

This trip has already been completely paid for by myself so every cent that is donated will be going directly to the the Alzheimer Society of Ireland and the great work that they do.

If you are not in a position to donate at this time, please do your best to try and support a family member, a loved one or a friend who
lives with this illness.

Thank you.
