A cause very close to my heart, having lost my grandmother to Alzheimer’s, a form of dementia and now seeing my other grandmother battle it, so please join me while I take on Kilimanjaro in the hope of raising funds and making a real difference to the lives of those affected. Every little helps!
Dementia is a heartbreaking condition that slowly robs those affected of their memories, personality, and ability to connect, leaving loved ones grieving the gradual loss of someone who is still physically there. It is Ireland’s hidden health crisis, with nearly 64,000 people living with dementia. Every year another 11,000 people are diagnosed – that’s 30 people every day!
