Climbing Kerry for a dear friend Ruud Sijstermans

A childhood friend, Ruud Sijstermans from Holland, has been fighting a terrible colon cancer for several years. He continues to fight it with incredible spirit and determination - and he has even been tackling a fantastic sponsored cycle to raise monies for his chosen cancer charity. https://vimeo.com/459137182 .

I have signed up for a 5 day hike in the Kerry Mountains, starting on the 6th October, with the highlight being climbing Carrauntohill (1,038m), Ireland’s highest peak. As part of this, I am committed to raising a minimum of £1,000 for Cancer Research UK. Ruud is having a terrible fight against cancer and I am determined to join this fight - and with your help, we can make a difference.
