Climbing for Cancer: 4 Peaks Challenge
A weekend challenge to hike the tallest peak in each Irish province — in support of Irish Cancer Society and in honour of my journey through testicular cancer.
Inspired by the 3 Peaks Challenge in the UK, Ryan O'Sullivan, Thomas Grennan, and I, Oisín Queva, have decided to challenge ourselves with a 4 Peaks Challenge, climbing the tallest mountain from each province in Ireland on June 21st-22nd:
Sliabh Donard, Ulster
Lug na Quilla, Leinster
Mweelrea, Connacht
Carrauntoohil, Munster

We decided to raise money for Irish Cancer Society, as we thought this hike was a good cause to raise awareness and money for this great cause. Personally, cancer was a big part of my life because last September, 2024, I had testicular cancer. The operation went well, but there were still high traces of cancer, so for the winter I underwent chemotherapy.
So, please join us in making a difference towards tackling cancer research and helping those affected by this terrible disease. Every little bit helps :)
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means a lot to me.
More information about Irish Cancer Society: They are a community of patients, survivors, volunteers, supporters, health and social care professionals and researchers. Together they are transforming the experiences and outcomes of people affected by cancer through their advocacy, support services and research.
Thanks again for making a difference!
