Climbing Everest for Autism Awareness

My name is Stephen Sinclair. My sons name is Frankie, he is 3 years old, he is Autistic and non verbal. My aim is to combine my dream of climbing the tallest mountain on earth (29,031ft) with raising as much money and awareness as possible to Autism. At 7 years old I had a major blood clot (DVT) from my ankle to my liver in my left leg, and the doctors told my mother 1 more day and I probably wouldn't of made it. They also seriously considered amputating my leg and said that I would never be able to take part in sporting activities, so this is my way of proving those doctors wrong and giving something back to help others with Autism and also just to show people who may suffer with a lack of confidence and self belief that absolutely anything is possible if you have a strong enough why and set your mind to it.
