Climbing Everest to help end domestic violence

Tax deductible
On May 21st I will attempt to climb the equivalent of Mt. Everest - (29,029 ft / 8,848 m) with fellow women from team Velocity utilizing the Zwift online cycling application. The mountain will be virtual, but the effort is genuine. My bike will be connected to a smart trainer which will accurately increase the resistance with every gradient incline as I climb the Alpe du Zwift mountain nine consecutive times. A strict set of rules has to be followed, and the activity will be tracked and monitored for the duration to assure compliance. I'm very excited (and a little terrified) to be part of this quest with my fierce, strong and all-around awesome teammates.

In addition to training for this event, I've chosen to raise money to benefit National Network to End Domestic Violence. Strong women working together to help other women seems like the perfect partnership, and I’m hoping you can help. Any donation amount will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

Please note that GFM is an approved fundraising platform for NNEDV, and your donation will go directly to the charity. Also, NNEDV is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization so your donation is tax-deductible.
