From Gaza to Everest: Carrying the Names of Gaza’s Children

What is happening in Gaza is not just a humanitarian crisis, it is a wound carried by an entire generation of children.Thousands have lost parents. Tens of thousands have lost their homes. And more than 55,000 children have lost limbs, futures, and the simple right to grow up without pain.

This initiative is about children, dignity, and long-term hope.

The funds raised through this project will support a dedicated Mount Everest expedition in May 2026 for Gaza.

This is not about politics. It is about memory, responsibility, and action.

The Purpose: To give Gaza’s children a voice, not just statistics

To carry their names and stories from the rubble of Gaza to the highest point on Earth.

The journey will be documented by Italian filmmaker Leonardo Avenzzo, beginning with Gaza, continuing through the Everest expedition, and ending by returning the story back to the people it belongs to. This will become a documentary of remembrance, resilience, and human conscience.

This climb is: A tribute, not a campaign. A prayer, not a protest. A reminder that children must never be forgotten.

I know that real change comes from both immediate aid on the ground and from voices that rise globally. This climb is not the end; it is part of a greater call to action.
