Climatetech Media Crowdfunding

Climatetech Advisors is a next-generation sustainability advisory service, bridging technology, sustainability, and resilience. We have three core working areas: an advisory service, a projects development function, and a media and storytelling platform. Our advisory service focuses on climatetech companies and public sector agencies, existing on a spectrum from peer support to fee-based strategic advising. Our projects development function is the mechanism to develop tools, processes, and strategies that turn concepts into realities. And our media and storytelling platform brings it all together to share with the world.

We are seeking to raise $20,000 to cover overhead for the next 2-3 months, including an office, software subscription fees, and the ability to pay designers and other professionals to help us show a future governed by the principles of next-generation sustainability.

By funding Climatetech Advisors, you become a stakeholder at the front lines of our efforts, which, if you haven't already realized, are geared for abundance. A dollar invested in Climatetech Advisors is a dollar invested directly into sustainability innovation in New York City. Our open and lean structure amplifies co-action and co-benefits, with no red tape or bureaucracy to slow us or limit our efforts.

Funding Climatetech Advisors is putting dollars directly into innovation New York City’s Parks and Recreation Department, through its Emerging Technologies Group’s 40-person summer internship program that pilots technologies to improve 30,000 acres and 550 community gardens, such as green roofs and GIS mapping. 30,000 acres is 14% of the land in NYC.

Funding Climatetech Advisors means supporting companies and projects led by women, people of color, people with disabilities, queer people, and all other marginalized groups who have gifts to contribute. Our advising clients include CyanSage, a biodegradable consumer goods company, the AirMiners community and Impossible Labs, including Tomorrow’s Air, building a traveler’s collective for atmospheric carbon removal and the series of educational events about atmospheric carbon removal, and Climate Designers, building educational material to help for designers navigate climate change as an opportunity.

Every dollar put into Climatetech Advisors is a dollar that directly supports the world’s only open-source comprehensive compendium of Green Jobs, GreenJobs.io. It directly supports advanced ecosystem evaluations that will enable our society to enlist Mother Nature as a co-founder and co-creator.

A dollar invested in Climatetech Advisors is a dollar invested directly into leadership in sustainability innovation in New York City. And please remember, even when the times change, the mission will stay the same.

The mission of Climatetech Advisors is to grow the field of climatetech.

All participants who contribute at least $100 in this Pre-Seed Round of Grant Funding will be able to opt-in to receiving a limited-edition Climatetech Advisors long sleeve t-shirt, and will gain preferential access to future products, services, and investment opportunities. All participants who contribute at least $1,000 will receive a custom next-generation sustainability strategy developed by our in-house developed proprietary tool.
