Hi! My name is Nina, and I am a Philadelphia-based actor and creator. I recently became the organizer of a theatrical event as part of Climate Change Theatre Action's global play festival to raise awareness for climate change and involve communities around the world in taking steps towards change. This year's theme is "All Good Things Must Begin", and our team cannot wait to get started!

Like any theatrical production, we need the funds to make this happen. We are looking to raise a MINIMUM of $10,000 to pay our artists adequately for their time and skills! THE SKY IS THE LIMIT! 50% of the funds we raise will go directly into paying the artists; the other half will go towards the other expenses of putting on a piece of theatre, and anything left over (or surplus) will be donated to the Clean Air Council, Philadelphia's oldest environmental non-profit.

So what will this event look like? We are putting on a one-night event featuring 8-10 five-minute plays written by playwrights around the world. Each piece focuses on a different aspect of climate change, environmentalism, and community needs. The performance will feature an ensemble of Philadelphia-based actors and will dive deep into devising and interactive storytelling.
