Hi everyone.

As you know, I have volunteered all over the world, from Jamaica to India, Greece, Panama, Egypt, and even Ukraine twice.

And now Emily and I are heading waaaay up north to Iqaluit, Nunavut, and will be working with the local animal shelter there.

Did you know Iqaluit has almost more dogs than people? The shelter has a fully functioning animal hospital, but no veterinarian! That is where we come in.

We will be spending 7 days there, offering all kinds of medical and surgical services to the pet owners of Iqaluit, plus we will be running a spay neuter clinic for one day in the nearby community of Kimmirut.

The funds we are collecting are to help cover the costs of medication and surgical supplies, as well as to help purchase some desperately needed medical equipment for the shelter.

Emily and I really appreciate everyone's support, it warms our hearts - thank goodness because we are heading up there in January and it is really really cold up there :)
