Cliff's Hips

My name is Clifford, and I'm only 1 but I rescued my mom and dad in October! But after I got home and the neutering wore off they noticed I walked with a wiggle. When I went to the doctors, they saw that my hip was out and it had been that way for while. They told my mom I lost a fight with a car (can you believe that?). Since my parents are crazy, they're trying to get my hip replaced (humans are such suckers for the puppy eyes) and now need help.

Now that we gave Clifford his say, the surgery is what it sounds like, a total hip replacement, and it will fix both the hip problem and the subsequent atrophy/microfractures.

We are both huge advocates for animal insurance (get it, get it, get it!) but because of it being a “previous condition”, Clifford is not eligible for the surgery and this will all be out of pocket.

We will be posting our progress every step of the way and we appreciate you taking the time to read.

As you can see, the size in the legs show the old injury. Additionally, you can see the fracture of the left hip and ball out of socket.
