Clifford Needs Life-Saving Surgery Support

i am asking for help for my medically complicated cat, clifford. any amount of donation is greatly appreciated but if you are unable to donate, sharing his story is enough. he is only a year old and has faced a multitude of medical issues one after the other. he has been to multiple different specialists and is currently being hospitalized at the emergency vet. the poor baby can not catch a break!

his current issue is being blocked aka not being able to urinate. on saturday after work, i noticed that he was struggling to urinate. i watched him try twice for two minutes each with no success. i try to palpate his bladder but when i go to touch his belly, he screams out in pain. i have never heard him scream like this before. he then continues to walk around my apartment screaming. i immediately scoop him up and rush him to the ER.

they immediately take him back and unblock him but when attempting to place the urinary catheter they tore his urethra. i wish i could say his issues ended there but upon further investigation they found bladder stones which could have been the cause of the blockage in the first place.

they took him to surgery yesterday to remove the stones and get samples to create a better treatment plan catered towards him. i went to visit him last night and he was so out of it and seemed so painful. the poor baby just kept groaning in pain.

at this point i have no idea when he will be able to come home and start his recovery with me.

with all this being said, this has been VERY costly. i am trying my best to do everything i can but im running out of money and so deep in the hole already. he’s my emotional support animal and i dont know what i would do without him. please help me help my sweet boy
