Clifford Cox Sr. Memorial
From the mountains to the ocean, He stands for love, pride and honor. Clifford K Cox Sr. walked this earth with dignity, alongside his wife and high school sweetheart, Tina K Cox, as a devoted husband, father, son, brother and grandfather. On May 4, 2020 Clifford was called Home to be with the Lord leaving behind his wife of 35 years, 3 children; Chantel (Greg) Bennett, Keala (Ua) Cox, and Cavan (Ploy) Cox, and grandchildren; Giana (5) and Ginia (2) Bennett & Cadence (3) and Castin (7 mos.) Cox.
Clifford is the epitome of a hardworking family man and an AVID Operator, Foreman, and Superintendent in the Construction Industry. He was the best in the business, and will be remembered as such. Clifford worked for Goodfellow Bros since 2000. He worked his way up to a Superintendent for the Island of Hawai'i. He was foreman on so many notable projects that helped our community. Many people remember seeing him working with his crews on the Queen Ka’ahumanu project. His crews will tell you that he was a hard worker and expected the same from the people around him. Safety was his top priority, and he always took proper steps & protocols to ensure it was put in effect.
Known all across the state, nation and world, Clifford is a well-respected man; his passion, drive, and love for all things outdoors, work, and family is what everyone will always remember Clifford by. Bringing his sons Keala, Cavan, and Greg into the business was important to Clifford. They continue their father’s legacy. The things that people seem to remember the most about Clifford was his sense of humor, his dedication to his family, and his strong work ethic. He will be missed greatly!
As the Cox ʻOhana spend time with each other, prayers are appreciated above all else. Many people who have worked with Clifford throughout the years have asked where to send contributions in his memory, so we felt this was the appropriate response to help support his loved ones. Please keep the Cox 'Ohana in your hearts during this time of grief, reflection, love, and remembrance.
