“ There comes a time when a Dedicated Knight gets wounded, and the people he serves need to rally to help him.
Mr. Cliff Montano is a small town merchant in Berthoud, Colorado. He is more than that, and he is now in serious trouble, fighting a ferocious skin cancer, with no funds or insurance to get medical help. You see, Cliff lays out everything he has for the community of Berthoud (was their MAN OF THE YEAR 2016). Sure, he sells the town pizzas and other authentic Italian food, but that is just a vehicle to make good men and women out of boys and girls.
One visit to Cliff’s pizza shop and you see that he supervises high school kids to actually run his shop. He puts great responsibility on these young ones, holds them to the accountability of the real world, counsels them about life, struggle and triumph with hard work and working smart. Cliff teaches them how to go out into the world and to dream about running a business themselves, and he gives them the mental tools. He sponsors his self-funded essay contest each year wherein one of his exceptional workers is given a vehicle as his/her own. He donates food and works endlessly in the local school system to promote these kid’s studies, activities and success. He does all of that because that is who he is. You can tell these qualities from in his eyes the first time you meet this interesting man, originally from “Jersey”.
Cliff has MORE to do on this earth, but he needs real help from friends, colleagues and strangers to continue. He needs treatment, and it is very expensive! He will die without launching an immediate battle against these cancer cells. If there is any hope for good in the world today, this is exactly the guy you'd want to help out to promote a better society of responsible adults! Please help Cliff in his crusade for healing and for more time in his earthly service.”
