My name is Emalee and I am asking for your help.

Thursday, March 2nd, Mr. Cliff and Tonia Byrd’s house caught fire resulting in massive internal and external destruction. They, unfortunately, suffered severe damage to their bedroom, losing the majority of furniture and clothing. The ceiling of the house is completely burned through and will need to be reconstructed.

The home carries sentimental value for it is the home that Mrs. Byrd grew up in.

Mr. & Mrs. Byrd have worked very hard trying to save money to send Clifford Byrd II to Bethel College, a private Christian school in North Newton, Kansas.

Without having home insurance, the ability to repair their home may not be an option without our help. And with the repairs that are needed to be done, it will be several months before the Byrd’s can move back into their house.

With putting their efforts into trying to fix up their home, many of their essential needs will not be covered as well.

They are the last people to ask for help, but the first people to extend their help to others.
