As many of you know, our good man Cliff Sugrue is gravely ill.

To stay alive, Cliff has to wear a LifeVest, a wearable defibrillator. This detects dangerous heart rhythms and delivers a treatment shock when necessary. The hope is that rest, medications, and the LifeVest will give his heart time to heal, so that he will be strong enough for the multiple surgeries that will be necessary.

The sobering irony is that a man with such a huge figurative heart, which pumps with such generosity as a family man, working man, and friend, is indeed literally so large it is threatening his life.

The essential health care process demands that Cliff be out of work for several months, maybe longer.

None of this is possible without tremendous financial cost, cost that is insurmountable without your help.
