Clifden Trad Fest 2022-Help us fund the festival!

Since 2010, our volunteer committee has run the Clifden Traditional Music Festival here in Clifden Connemara, which has become a national and internationally recognised festival. At the Trad Fest weekend we feature the very best of Irish Music, Song and Dance with performers from all over Ireland and of course the best of local talent.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT - BIG OR SMALL - IT ALL COUNTS!!!

This festival will be the first festival for Clifden, Connemara since restrictions have lifted, so again it is a much-needed boost to the area and businesses and the whole community!

From concerts, sessions, workshops, outdoor concerts, family street entertainment, 5 k run and so so much more, the festival has reached out to every aspect of our community, especially the youth element of our area.

Since Covid hit in 2020 we have been unable to host the festival in person in, but we have kept the momentum going online. This year in 2022 we will be running the festival IN-PERSON with your help. The festival is a community festival, run by a fully volunteer committee with 95% of our events FREE to all to attend.

The festival costs in excess of €10,000 euros to run annually.

Costs include: Performer fees, Accommodation and Food Costs, Marketing and PR, Signage, Brochures, Posters, Sound and Lighting, Staging Costs, Insurance, Advertising, Misc and much more
