Hi, my name is Janae Salazar, and I’m the founder of Click Print Magnet Co—a small business with a big mission. I’m raising funds to bring my dream to life: a mobile and online photo magnet printing service that captures memories while giving back to a cause close to my heart—Juvenile Type 1 Diabetes awareness and advocacy.

My daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes four and a half years ago, and it turned her world upside down. At first, she was just sad… but then it became anger. That anger slowly turned into depression. As a mother, it’s devastating to watch your child struggle with something you can’t take away.

One of the hardest parts has been how alone she feels. In Bakersfield, California, there aren’t any local support groups for kids dealing with juvenile Type 1 Diabetes—or for their families. I know that if she had other kids to talk to who truly understand the daily struggles, it would help her feel less isolated. I want her to cope. To grow. To smile again.

That’s why I’ve decided to start this business and this movement.

Click Print Magnet Co will offer a fun, creative way for people to turn their favorite photos into high-quality magnets—perfect for gifts, keepsakes, and events. But more than that, part of every sale will go toward building a support community for families living with T1D. Meetups, resources, events, and safe spaces where kids like my daughter—and parents like me—can connect and thrive.
