Cleves Cross Learning Trust back on the road

We are Cleves Cross Learning Trust, and on a cold night in January 2021 just 1 day after returning to school after Christmas, both of our school Mini buses were cruelly stolen from our school grounds.
CCTV showed the heartless thieves breaking into the metal car park gates on the school grounds using a metal grinder. They hot-wired one minibus sped away, then disgracefully returned 45 minutes later and selfishly took the other one too.
We came into school the following morning, flabbergasted that anybody could do such an evil crime and steal from a school.
Our school minibuses have been a massive part of our school for many years; they've enabled us to take children on various trips, residentials, sports matches, events etc. Without the minibuses, trips have had to be cancelled, and opportunities for off-site learning have been missed.
Due to the enormous costs of coach hire for excursions, parents have had to pay so much more for what used to be affordable enriching experiences for the children.
Durham Police studied our CCTV but were unable to identify anyone involved. Northumbria Police ANPR cameras picked up one of the buses, but nothing was found.
We have waited to start this Go Fund Me page while the insurance company investigated. We have received a small amount but nowhere near enough to purchase 2 minibuses.
Every little helps. If you can spare anything, we'd greatly appreciate it.
Let's get Cleves Cross Learning Trust back on the road!
