Hi! My name is Jaylene and I am Cleto‘s youngest daughter. On behalf of my siblings we are creating this for our father.

Unfortunately, our dad has suffered from multiple strokes on multiple parts of his brain in the past couple days, as well as dealing with a nasty infection in his body. The strokes he is suffering from are evolving strokes and this has left us with a lot of uncertainty. It has left him in the hospital, and unable to speak or properly function . With so many unanswered questions, and constant testing, and consulting with doctors, we do not know how long this recovery will be as he will likely be needing to be admitted to a rehab facility after his stay at the hospital. With this comes the obvious, the inability to be able to work.

Cleto is self employed and finds joy in taking people to the airport and conversing with them. He loves driving, he loves getting to know people, and he loves talking about his kids and grandkids. If you have taken the time to get to know my Dad on a personal level, my hope is that you have seen his good heart, his loving nature, and his ability to make friends and converse with anyone.

Cleto will have a long journey ahead to make a recovery, and be able to work. We have created this fundraiser in hopes of easing his burden (and ours since he doesn’t fully understand what is happening) in being able to keep up with his bills, and his living expenses. We are so humbled that multiple people asked us to create this, and I truly hope you know and feel how much we deeply appreciate it.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. And while my dad is in the unknown, and eventually recovery we appreciate the prayers and support. But most importantly we would love it if you tried to be a little more like Cleto, and talk to someone new, be their friend, and get to know your neighbors, and spread kindness.
