Cleto Neri

This is for Cleto Neri Solorzano who  just lost his life in a tragic night that no one saw coming. He was a kind hearted young man, a hard worker with a smile that could light up a room. He had a bright future ahead of himself and  was taken away from his loved ones and this world too soon at only 19 years old.  On the night Cleto's life was taken from him he went to hang out at a small gathering with friends on their property near Enchanted Rock State Park. Witnesses have said that Cleto was asking to leave and return to town when he got into an argument with a friend who wouldn't let him go. He ran out of the party inebriated. Phone records indicate he was trying to reach 911 between the time of leaving the party and his death. Cleto was shot less than a mile from where he and his friends were staying. When he was found he had no shoes and a cell phone antennae and no friends by his side. His truck was found the next day at Marktplatz with the keys in it. There are many questions that haven't been answered and an investigation that has fallen short on behalf of someone's life. There are accusations that have been made to justify taking someone's life but with no proof. Cleto was shot in the head after being accused of attacking the homeowner whose property he approached. He was taken to San Antonio Hospital after the Sheriff's Dept. arrived to the scene and called EMS. Cleto did not survive the gunshot wound and his organs were donated; a final testimony to the beauty of Cleto's selflessness.  Cleto no longer has a voice in his story but his loved ones should still have the opportunity to know what happened the night of Cleto's death. We all deserve the truth and answers help heal the wounds of the unjustified. We have started this gofundme to help ease the financial burdens of hospital and funeral expenses. Our ultimate goal is to help his family afford a lawyer that will help fight for justice for Cleto Neri Solorzano.  All proceeds raised in this gofundme will be given directly to Cleto's family for their expenses.
