Hi, my name is Elizabeth Romo. On October 3rd my mom Coty was in a tragic accident that resulted in her passing. She was 53 years old and the best mother, daughter, sister, wife, and friend. She would always go out of her way to spread her kindness and put other's needs above her own. Anyone who knew her witnessed her selflessness and resilience. The accident being so sudden and unexpected left my family and I devastated. My mom was always actively working hard and picking up extra shifts at work to help pay for my dental hygiene school. She always encouraged me to work hard and follow my dreams. No matter what, she would always be there to support me and help my family in times of need. She had a very strong faith and when she had time to spare, she would happily serve time helping our church. Growing up she would babysit children who grew up to see her as a second mom. She had a heart of gold, and always brightened up the room with a big smile. Her good spirits always uplifted those around her. She never hesitated to feed stray animals and care for them. My mom was just an amazing human being overall. We appreciate the love, kindness, and support that we have received from everyone and have created this GoFundMe to help pay for the expenses of her service. Anything is greatly appreciated. Although this has been an incredibly difficult time, it is beautiful to see everyone coming together to celebrate her life. Hola, mi nombre es Elizabeth Romo. El 3 de octubre mi mamá Coty sufrió un trágico accidente que provocó su fallecimiento. Tenía 53 años y era la mejor madre, hija, hermana, esposa y amiga. Ella siempre fue amable con los demas y ponía las necesidades de las personas antes que las suyas. Cualquiera que la conociera fue testigo de su altruismo y resiliencia. El accidente fue tan repentino e inesperado que nos dejó a mi familia y a mí devastados. Mi madre siempre trabajaba duro y tomaba turnos adicionales en el trabajo para ayudar a pagar mi escuela de higiene dental. Ella siempre me animó a trabajar duro y seguir mis sueños. Sin importar lo que pasaba ella estaba disponible para ayudarnos en momentos de necesidad. Tenía una fe muy fuerte y cuando tenía tiempo de sobra, felizmente trabajaba ayudando a nuestra iglesia. Al crecer, ella cuidaba niños que crecían y la veían como una segunda madre. Tenía un corazón de oro y siempre alegraba la habitación con una gran sonrisa. Su buen humor siempre animó a quienes la rodeaban. Nunca dudó en alimentar a los animales callejeros y cuidarlos. Mi mamá era simplemente un ser humano increíble en general.
