I have been thinking a lot about setting up this GoFund me.

I usually make these or share these to help others but this time I need help.

 

Cleo has been having discharge for a while now. Recently found out she is leaking urine. 

I've taken her to the vet and now a specialist to see what the issue was and it turns out that Cleo has a blockage to one of her kidneys. This is a huge issue because the kidney is not being used and it is being blocked therefore it is at high risk of infection. The vet informed me that Cleo needs to either remove the kidney which is an $8,000 procedure or free the blockage, which would cost more. Lawndale Emergency quoted me $8-10k. I would obviously prefer to save the kidney incase she needs it in the future.

I am asking for help either by a donation or by simply sharing Cleo's GoFund me.

It would be cool to find a Vet that does these surgeries for a lower cost.

 

We love Cleo and we are hopeful that we can get some help with the financial burden of this surgery.

 

P.S I have applied for grants and I have not heard back


Update: I am communicating with Doctors in Texas to get the surgery for much less than here in California.
Hoping I will have a quote by this week.
Hoping it wont be more than $5k
