I’m starting this GoFundMe for my best friend’s cat, who was just diagnosed with a severe gum disease. It’s heartbreaking she’s in constant pain right now, struggling to eat and enjoy life like she used to. After a vet visit and X-rays, they were told she needs full dental surgery to remove all of her teeth within the next two weeks to stop the infection from spreading and finally relieve her pain.

The quoted cost for the surgery is around $5,000, which includes:

• Full tooth extractions

• Dental cleaning

• X-rays

• Anesthesia and post-op care

My best friend loves her cat more than anything she’s her baby but she has too much pride to ask anyone so I’m doing it on the behalf of her and hoping this will work since it’s better than the alternative. This news has been devastating, both emotionally and financially. She’s doing everything she can, but $5,000 is a lot to come up with on such short notice.
