Cleo and her lump
Donation protected
Hi I'm Babz and this is Cleo, she's a 13 year old staffie cross collie who is full of life. She has cancer but a non aggressive type and is covered in lumps and bumps but is still a happy, playful dog who loves a walk A few months ago one of the lumps grew and became inflamed and burst. Our old vet said it could not be removed as it was too big and would be too invasive so she was treated with antibiotics. It's happened again but I've been to a different vet who said this will keep happening if it isn't removed and it should have been done the first time. If its not done now there's a real risk she could die from infection. If it had been done when it originally happened then it would probably have cost around £450 (vet estimates) now it could cost £1000.
Times are tough for us all and i don't have that sort of money just laying around. I let the pet insurance lapse due to the cost of living being so high (no negative comments please as I feel bad enough doing this as is!!!!)
So if you could help at all I would really appreciate it as she may be 13 but still has so much life in her and the thought of losing her makes me feel sick.
Thank-you so so much for reading
