Hi! My name is Merritt Redden, and I have the privilege of leading Clemson FCA's Community Outreach team this year. My team and I are so excited that we get to continue the tradition of organizing support to help feed local families for Thanksgiving!
Each Thanksgiving Box contains canned goods, boxed desserts, a turkey, eggs, bread, lunch meat, and other resources to help feed a local family for the week of Thanksgiving break. We partner with local schools such as Seneca Middle School, Pendleton Elementary School, La France Elementary School, Blue Ridge Elementary School, and more to identify students and their families that could benefit from receiving a Thanksgiving Box.
Different small groups, servant teams, and friend groups within FCA sign up to provide perishable items for Thanksgiving Boxes, but the Community Outreach team is responsible for raising the funds to provide the perishable items (eggs, bread, turkey, lunch meat, butter, etc). That's where you come in! We would love to ask you to prayerfully consider donating to help us in our efforts. We are supporting around 70 families this year and would really appreciate your willingness to partner with us in what God is doing in Clemson and the surrounding areas!
