My name is Takoda, and I’m a student-athlete at Clemson University. This June, I have the incredible opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic with Clemson FCA Athletics for a week-long mission trip. Our team of student-athletes will be partnering with FCA International to serve local communities, focusing on working with children through sports, Vacation Bible School–style activities, and outreach events. The heart of this trip is to build relationships, share our faith, and make a positive impact through fellowship and service.

The funds raised will help cover my travel expenses, as well as the activities and materials needed to support the communities we’ll be serving. I’ll be staying in huts and villas alongside my teammates, and every donation will go directly toward making this mission possible. The trip is organized and supported by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), who handle all planning, leadership, and fundraising to ensure that donations are used for ministry and outreach efforts.
