Clef Hangers are the premier mixed-voice a cappella group hailing from Illinois State University. Compromised of fourteen voices, they regularly compete in ICCA, host on-campus concerts throughout the year, and participate in gig oppurtunities around Illinois. The tight-knit group emphasizes their passion for creating music and cultivating a welcoming community.
Recently, we placed 1st at ICCA Great Lakes Quarterfinal 5 on February 28th. Our choreographers, Norah Gillogly and Joey Rabor, won Outstanding Choreography for the whole set. In addition, our arrangers, Bella Green and Joey Rabor, won Outstanding Arrangement for the whole set. See below:
We are incredibly proud to compete with such talented groups within the Great Lakes region and to be surrounded by an amazing a cappella community!
