Sawyer is my 7 year old goofy, tail-wagging best friend who has never met a day she didn’t love. Even now, as cataracts are slowly clouding her vision, she still greets life with that trademark wiggle like everything is an adventure. She bumps into walls, misjudges doorways, and sometimes mistakes my shoes for a toy, but she does it all with so much joy and determination that it breaks my heart and makes me laugh at the same time.

Sawyer is my whole world. She is my little shadow, my comfort on hard days, and the one who somehow always knows when I need a nudge or a cuddle. All I want is to give her the chance to see clearly again: to spot a squirrel at the park, to chase her toys with confidence, and to recognize my face without guessing.
