Clear Debris and Restore Hope for Tommy Moss and his wife
Donation protected
My name is Jack Faircloth from Huntersville, NC. We are raising money to clear off the lot where Tommy Moss and his wife lived at 23 Driftwood Ct. Asheville, NC 28805. Like his neighbors on both sides of the street, their homes came off the foundation and were swept away 11 minutes after the Swannanoa River raged through from Hurricane Helene.
Tommy didn’t ask for help. I overheard him this Saturday while I filling up my chainsaw say to my pastor Daniel, “I lost everything one month ago!” We discovered he still has his wife and his hope to rebuild but there is a random house, massive debris, and a monster 100 ft compromised sycamore tree on his lot.
He says the psychological stress of seeing it for one month is overwhelming. You see, they don’t go to church and have very little community left. That may change when the hands and feet of Jesus show up. We want to get rid of every piece of damage on his lot and help them heal, but, we need your support.
Wilson Land solutions out of CLT will do this at cost by next week. Any extra funds will be given to the Moss family or their neighbors on Driftwood Ct.
There is no flood insurance so it’s up to us. Let’s do it all for the glory of God and show them that they are LOVED!!
