After months of planning, our team arrived at the Quito, Ecuador airport on February 3rd with 400 water filters to deliver to the rural indigenous community of La Calera. After leaving the airport, thieves stole all but 65 of the filters from the back of the transport truck, leaving us heartbroken. The 65 filters have been delivered to the community and community leaders have been trained in maintaining the filters.

We are raising funds to replace the 335 stolen filters so that we can fulfill our commitment to bring clean water to every family in La Calera. Nothing is more important to good health than clean drinking water! Please help us make it happen.
