The Kumpi Mayu Foundation uses these funds to purchase Condor water filters from Agua Munda LLP. The Condor filter has been providing clean, safe water to developing countries such as Peru for the past six years.

The laboratory tested Condor 0.1 micro membrane filters will remove all of the bacteria from the water. Pre-filteration removal of sediment and the post-filtration of disinfection using chlorine tablets are part of the process.
On November 1st, we are leaving Berkeley, CA. for Puerto Rico where will will be working with the School of Public Health of the University of Puerto Rico, which is located at in San Juan. The School will assist us in distributing our Condor filters.
We will be taking 20 Condor filters with us at a cost of $10,000. However, many more these filters are needed. Those who will benefit will be the people of Puerto Rico who are in need to safe, clean water.
None of these funds are used for salaries or air fares for any of the personel of the Kumpi Mayu Foundation or the Agua Munda LLP. All of the funds are used for the purchase of the filters and their distribution in Puero Rico.
