Clean Memorial Stadium for Football Season

Donation protected
I’m Clay Carmichael, Selma City Councilman for Ward 3, Council President Pro Temp, and a member of city recreation committee. Memorial Stadium has recently been hit by a tornado that devastated half of our community and left it in bad shape. The city has a current contract to get the initial damage reconstructed, but we would like to do more. Memorial Stadium is also in Ward 3 so I feel somewhat more responsible towards getting it ready for football season. We’ve reached out to Sanchez Superior Cleaning, and they’ve agreed to offer a significant discount to pressure wash the stadium with chemicals that will make it shine and look good for football season. I’m partnering with Selma High graduate, digital creator and photographer, Tina West to show unity in this effort. With all the social media talk, we decided to get together and walk. If we end up raising more than the $2500, we will be sure every last penny goes towards stadium improvements, so please don’t stop there! $2500 is just our first goal! Let’s get it ready for the Saints so they can enjoy home field advantage and have much success in their 2023 football season!
