Clea and Arthur could use a little extra support right now. After a perfect storm of coinciding events on Wednesday, June 21, Clea had a spontaneous coronary artery dissection. This led to her having a NSTEMI, which is a type of heart attack. She was in the hospital for 6 nights, Arthur by her side throughout. She is home now and working on rest and pain management. What her recovery will look like, and how long it will take, is still a little unknown.

Right now Clea has some serious physical restrictions. The doctors have expressed that she should try to stay calm and minimize stress as much as possible. She is also under orders not to lift her 35 lb daughter, which makes caring for her alone unfeasible. Her sister, Erica, has taken over organizing child care for the short term, but they may be looking for full-time child care while Clea is recovering. Arthur also plans to be more available as needed so may not be able to work as much.
