Dear Family, Friends, Lineman, and Fishing Community

Many of you may recall the devastating event that took place on July 23, 2024 which took the life of Clayton Kloesel at age 32. Clayton was a lineman who worked for CPS. He suffered high voltage electrocution on that tragic day. He left behind a wife, 3 sons, a father and many other family members and friends. Clayton was also an avid fisherman and had a deep passion for the sport of fishing.

He began a guide service call "Peel'N Drag Guide Service" in 2022. In honor of Clayton's memory and his love for fishing, his friends have organized a fishing tournament to be held annually in Rockport,TX called the "Captain Clayton Kloesel Memorial Fishing Tournament". This year's tournament is scheduled for June 13-14, 2025. Proceeds will benefit the children of fallen lineman.

Curtis, Claytons father, was slated to take his grandson's fishing in this tournament using Claytons guide boat. Unbeknownst to Curtis the motor on Claytons boat was blown. He is now faced with purchasing a new motor to participate in his sons memorial tournament.

The financial burden currently is overwhelming for the family. Therefore we are respectfully reaching out for donations to help replace the motor in time for the tournament.
