The morning of August 16th, Clayton's life changed as he was rushed to the hospital after suffering from a stroke at the young age of 29. He was air lifted from the local hospital to a larger hospital to receive the life saving treatment that he needed in order to remove a clot from his brain as well as a second one from another artery.
For those who may not know Clayton (CJ) as well as we do, he is a local volunteer firefighter, friend and family too many. CJ is the type of person who would give the shirt off of his back to a complete stranger just to make someone's day a little easier. He is the one that never minds being stuck in a tanker shuttle because he knows he plays a bigger role in the grand scheme of things. He is the one that many of us call in the case of an emergency and every single time he is there with his normal goofy smile to do whatever he can to help.
Over the past few days CJ has fought for his life and for his mobility and he has a long road ahead of him that will include physical and speech therapy along with many tests, doctors appointments and missed work. While he starts his road to recovery and regains some normalcy in his life we are asking for donations of any amount to help with his growing medical bills as well as his normal living expenses.
