In Loving Memory of Clayton Chandler “Kouks”

Gone too soon, but forever in our hearts.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved brother, father, son, grandfather, and uncle—Clayton Chandler, affectionately known as “Kouks.” On Saturday, April 5th, 2025, our Clayton passed away peacefully in palliative care after bravely battling a rare and devastating infection called Melioidosis.

Clayton’s illness began with something as simple as a small cut on his foot, which made contact with soil carrying the dangerous bacteria. From that moment on, he fought with incredible strength and courage—but sadly, the infection proved too much.

Clayton leaves behind three beautiful children, two of whom are now being lovingly cared for by our family. As we begin the heartbreaking journey of saying goodbye, we are reaching out to ask for support in giving Clayton the farewell he deserves.

We are aiming to raise funds to assist with the funeral costs and the many unexpected expenses that come with this difficult transition. Our goal is to celebrate Clayton’s life and legacy on what would have been his 50th birthday—May 2nd, 2025. A fitting day to honor a man who brought so much warmth, laughter, and love to those around him.

Clayton was a proud father, a loyal friend, and a man who lived with heart. His memory will live on in his children, his family, and the many lives he touched. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward funeral arrangements and supporting the care of his children during this time.
