On Mother's Day, May 8th, 2022, our family received devastating news. My 23-year-old cousin, Clayton Carney, was killed in a horrendous motor vehicle accident. My aunt lost her only child. Our family will forever have a hole in it. Clayton was sweet, caring, and funny. He knew how to make us laugh and loved doing it. Every person he ever met was instantly considered a friend. He loved and trusted enormously. And he left this world way too soon. His friends, family, and especially his mother are grieving immensely.
