Since Clayton’s passing on January 13, 2025, much has happened. Yesterday marked four months since my beloved Clayton Petzel left us. The journey to move forward without him has been incredibly challenging. Those who knew him understand how deeply he valued his family and friends, having formed connections with people from all walks of life. This property meant so much to Clay and still does to me and the children. His last wish would be for our family to remain on our homestead in Brooksville, but I must fight to keep it since there is an open probate case. This requires paying a $12,500 retainer fee to a lawyer that will represent me at the 1st court hearing scheduled for June 26, 2025. Sadly, Clay did not anticipate his early departure and did not leave a will, which means I am not included in the estate. I need legal representation to protect my rights. Please keep me in your prayers that day. As I begin this new chapter in my life and return to work, I’m reaching out for help with additional funds to support myself, my children, Rudy, and the dogs. I genuinely appreciate all the support, encouragement, and prayers everyone has offered for me and the kids. Thank you to all that loved him, respected him and shared moments with him. His passing is still very hard on me emotionally and I’m trying to recover from this loss. If you find it in your heart to donate anything it will be appreciated and I’d be forever thankful.
