I am running the entire Saints Way for Clay County Cat Care

The saints way is a 50km+ ancient trail of footpaths through river beds , fields and footpaths from Padstow on the North coast of Cornwall up over the hills and tors of Bodmin and through woodlands to the south coast town of Fowey.

I will be setting off before dawn one day in June and will run, jog, walk and crawl the whole trail in a day. it is a solo run. No support, fanfare nor fellow competitors.

I am not built for endurance. I can do 90mins of football or a 5k park run but at fifty years of age this is going to be the biggest physical challenge of my life.

I am doing this for my wife Mandie and the beloved Cat Rescue she volunteers for and ee also provide foster homes for cats awaiting their forever family.

Clay County Cat Care is dedicated to helping and rehoming the many cats and kittens that are abandoned, abused, unwanted, and in need of help.

They are a non-profit, home-based cat rescue that relies entirely on donations and their aim is to help and support the many cats and kittens that need help, as well as to offer support to the adopters of their cats or kittens.
