Hello friends and family! My name is Crystel and I'm setting up this fund for my best friend of more than 15 yrs my beautiful friend Claudia,  who is  34 years old and was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma in early August of 2019. Sadly this is something that 1 in out of 8 women will face. It's been a very difficult time for her since she found out. Shes caring, loving and always knows how to make you laugh. her spirits stay lifted even through this difficult time for her, and I know she will pull through because shes a fighter and has so much to live for. Claudia is a mother of three beautiful children Adam, Eva and Ryder. They are her blessings and whole world, My dear friend Adam has been with her for 11 years now, hes a good husband and dedicated father. He has been a stay at home dad for a bit ever since she got promoted to Manager at her job. Due to her new work schedule hes been the dedicated and nurturing dad that their kids need. He has been great supportive and loving to Claudia and although she is the one with Cancer, everyone knows that all the family is affected.  This is a journey that most go through at old age and sadly my best friends have to go through this while raising 3 little ones.. Her work keeps her busy as she manages a Planet Fitness in Fresno. She has a lot of motivation around her at all time from family and friends a great support system. Her staff has been a major support system for her, they have shown so much love and caring through since she found out. She will soon have surgery to remove the lump, depending on what her genetic testing results confirm. That will determine whether a Lumpectomy or a double Mastectomy is needed. This will determine what stage the cancer is in. A few weeks after that she will begin doing her chemotherapy or radiation for about the next 6 months. If everything goes well without complications.  We are all praying for her during this time and hope it's a speedy recovery. She had been blessed with a very good job that never let her stress about bills, putting food on the table for her kids or a roof over there heads. Now, the reality is she has been missing work on a weekly basis and soon she won't be working at all. we dont want her to focus on work because she has bills, we need her to be healthy and taking care of herself. Of course she will file for any help that she can get from disability and programs. But we all know that it takes time to get approve and its never close to the amount you make from a full time job. So of course the bills start pilling up. She is not the kind to ask for any kind of help she wants to do it all herself but we all know sometimes everybody needs help. So I am asking for some help today for my best friend.  We appreciate anything you can donate to help Claudia through this journey battling breast cancer. This is a very difficult time in her and her family's life. All money raised will go directly to help her family with any and all medical bills including, medical deductible ($2500) medical insurance premium($260 a month), genetic testing ($300) rent ($1200), car payment ($358)car insurance ($178) and all testing not covered by her health insurance.  THANK YOU each and everyone of you for allowing her to focus on her health and not have to worry about how she will be able to pay her medical Bill's and daily living costs.
